Blowing Some Horns

Guest posts on a blog are a two-way street.  They’re great when someone writes one on your blog, giving it a different feel, maybe even a different point of view from your own.  It relieves stagnation (as if my blog, or yours, could ever suffer from that affliction!).  They’re also great when one of your blogger friends ask you to write a guest post for their blog.  You get a good feeling, and it’s Sally Fields at the Oscars all over again — you like me, right now, you like me!

Leah Schapira first asked me to write a guest post for her during the early days of her recipe-sharing website:  Cook Kosher.  And in turn, she agreed to be interviewed for my Chatting with Miriyummy series.  A while back she asked me to write another guest post talking about my favorite Israeli food blogs.  I dithered a bit due to time-consuming issues at work and home, but I finally managed to put something together, and it went public yesterday.

So why don’t you head on over to the Cook Kosher site and check out what I said about one of my favorite addictions, reading food blogs.

An Addict’s Guide to Israeli Food Blogs — I blow my own horn (of course), and the horns of a few others, too.

  5. I like seeing my own design work on your post (I designed the header for Cooking Manager).

If I read food blogs too much, I will get very hungry. A great list indeed.
